Wah-Wah Records strives to give back to the Austin area community by hiring and promoting local talent.
Husband-and-wife songwriting team, Thomas and Carri Pattison craft the lyrics for every single Wah-Wah Record. Funny thing is neither of them sing or play a musical instrument professionally.
That’s where our beloved community of Austin area of talented musicians comes to the rescue!
We work with 512 Studio – Austin to produce records using local talent. Our producer puts together a one time a la cart band to create a special and unique sound on every Wah-Wah Pedal record.
We write all our lyrics and 512 Studio – Austin produces all our singles using local talent.
We promote the musicians we hire to jam our records. We feature each one-time band at a release party where our musicians play our song in front of a live audience for the very first time. Watch for party launch announcements as each of our rough-cut MP3 Demos is professionally recorded 512 Studio.
We also help our artists out by giving them free merch to sell at their performances. As well as promoting the sh*t out of them on social.
